Commitment Mission

To support nonprofits’ use of technology, in particular Salesforce.

Vision

To help nonprofits and social enterprises build capacity to use Salesforce sustainably. This includes building “right-size” solutions and helping organizations build a Salesforce program that includes People, Process and Product that is also right size and sustainable for their needs.

About Shujaa Consulting

“Shujaa” means hero in Swahili — and that’s who we’re here for. We see our clients as heroes working toward a better world. Our role is to be your behind-the-scenes partner, helping you build a Salesforce program that supports your everyday victories and long-term vision.

Founded in 2019, Shujaa is a global Salesforce consulting partner that helps nonprofits and social enterprises get real value from their investment in Salesforce and connected technologies. Whether you're just getting started or trying to make sense of a system that’s grown complex over time, we partner with you to build a high-functioning, right-sized Salesforce program — one that can evolve with your organization and reliably serve your team and stakeholders.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We work closely with your team to understand your goals, processes, and challenges — and help you build the internal structure, strategy, and tools to turn Salesforce into a trusted engine for innovation and impact.

We work with a wide range of Salesforce and Salesforce-adjacent tools — from Nonprofit Cloud, NPSP, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud to apps like Classy, Apsona, FundraiseUp, Findock, FormAssembly, Cloudingo, Jira, and more. Whether we’re integrating platforms, cleaning data, launching a new experience, or managing a product roadmap — we bring the technical depth, cultural fluency, and nonprofit savvy to get it done well.

Our team includes architects, developers, admins, analysts, project managers, marketers, and technologists — based around the world and united by a commitment to partnership, equity, and excellence.

Whether we’re acting as your full Salesforce department or extending your internal team, our goal is the same: to help you move with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Our Company Values

At Shujaa Consulting, we are committed to upholding the following core values in everything we do

COMMITMENT

We have a saying at Shujaa “we got your back”. What that means to us is that we are committed to supporting each other and our clients. We are here for you. We encourage and support each other towards positive growth in both your career and personal goals. We want our staff and clients to feel part of the team. When you feel part of a team we find that you have more stake in the game and show up to do your best work. We want each of us to do our best work every day.

LIFE AND WORK BALANCE

At Shujaa we believe in a work/life balance that allows you to be at your best. This means we encourage each of us to show up as our whole person; a friend, a mother, a father, a sister or a brother. If you need to take a break to be with your family, you got it. We want you to have a life work balance that works for you. We support working flexible hours if that is what works best for you and your family/life

ALWAYS LEARNING

We see ourselves as a learning organization. Salesforce as a software is incredibly complex and with 3 updates a year to the platform, there is ALWAYS opportunity to learn something new. Shujaa’s co-founders have combined over 20 years of experience with using and administering Salesforce and everyday we learn something new. Learning isn’t always about technology; Shujaa’s foundation is built on diversity. We appreciate different perspectives and views that educate each other and most importantly widen our perspectives to help be better human beings.

HAPPINESS

At the end of the day, are you happy? We want that answer to be an enthusiastic YES! We want to work with team members who are feeling happy with the work they are doing. We know that feeling happy and successful radiates positivity and our clients feel that too. We know that delivering quality work creates happy clients.
